Sitton Spelling

A couple of weeks ago we started Sitton Spelling which is a spelling and language program. It is designed to be carried out through each grade. We have been working on the 6 apples;

We have also been learning about homophones and antonyms!

Homophones are words that sound the same but have different meanings and are often spelled differently.  e.g. tale/tail or see/sea

Antonyms are words that give us opposites.  e.g. dark/light, hot/cold, up/down.
